| Regent Theatre
The Regent Theatre was constructed in
1919 by Paramount movie studios in the Georgian architectural style.
Historically, the theatre was a landmark in downtown Oshawa and is the
only remaining vaudeville silent movie house in Ontario between Toronto
and Kingston. The Regent Theatre has been designated as
a historic building under the Ontario Heritage Act and is located on
King Street East in downtown Oshawa. |
